Refund Policy
Voicecape is a subscription, and speech recognition is the kind of thing you can only judge by using it on your own voice. So the refund is deliberately simple.
The policy
You can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason. You do not need to explain what went wrong, and using the app during those 14 days does not disqualify you.
This sits on top of the 14-day free trial, which runs before you pay anything. Between the two you have 14 days to decide with the full app, and then 14 more days to change your mind.
How to request one
For a new web purchase, email contact@voicecape.com from the address you bought with and include the Paddle order reference if you have it. Paddle.com Market Ltd. issues an approved refund to the original payment method; the bank usually takes 5–10 business days to show it.
For a future Apple App Store or Google Play purchase, request the refund in the store account that issued the receipt. Apple or Google decides and issues that refund because it is the seller for the in-app transaction.
Polar and PortOne support refunds for existing legacy contracts only. If your earlier receipt names either provider, contact us or reply to that receipt and we will keep the request on its original rail. The same 14-day, no-questions rule applies.
What happens to your subscription
The subscription ends when the refund is issued, and nothing further is charged. When it ends, Voicecape stops inserting text on the Macs it was active on. What ends is the service, not your setup: your settings and personal dictionary stay on your Mac, and a later subscription picks them up exactly as they were.
Everything stored on your Mac — your personal dictionary, your settings, anything you already dictated — stays where it is. A refund does not touch any of it.
After 14 days
Write to us anyway. If the app is broken in a way we cannot fix for you, we would rather refund it than keep the money.
Your statutory rights
This policy sits on top of the rights you already have. If the law where you live gives you a longer or stronger right of withdrawal, that right applies, and nothing here reduces it.
