Wispr Flow runs on four platforms and we run on one. If you dictate on a phone, that decides it and no other row matters.
What we have instead is a speech model inside the app: when the network drops, dictation keeps going on the Mac. A cloud-only tool stops mid-sentence.
"Edits as you speak" and "never rewritten" are different promises
Wispr Flow describes itself as editing while you talk — filler, corrections and repetition are identified and the sentence is improved. Ours removes what you did not mean to say and stops there: your vocabulary, your sentence structure, your register.
Which is better depends on what you dictate. For a prompt to a coding agent, or a quote you have to reproduce, the difference is the whole product — the model answers what arrived, and you cannot see what was changed on the way.
A free tier versus a full trial
Their free plan gives 2,000 words a week forever. Ours gives fourteen days of cloud dictation, after which dictation needs a Personal plan; the Free plan — account, vault and local recording — stays. If you only dictate occasionally, theirs is the cheaper dictation.
